About Us

Enhanced Access is a service which GP practices are required to deliver as part of their PCN agreements. The service is required to provide 30 minutes of additional appointment time per 1,000 people.

Across Torbay and South Devon we are delivering this service at scale for the population of 340,000 patients. The local GP surgeries have collaborated to provide weekend services since 2018.

We provide weekend appointments with GPs, ANPs, Nurses and Healthcare assistants for all patients registered with a GP practice in Torbay and South Devon.

Appointments are booked through a patient’s own GP practice. Patients must consent to share their medical record so the clinicians can provide the best possible service with full access to patient’s medical records. All consultations are securely sent back to the patient’s own GP record.

The service is provided by experts in the field of routine primary care, your local GP Practice providers. It is important to our patients that we offer a service which is robust and consistent throughout our area.
